ANASAZI RUINS and Strawberry pop!

We took a little trip to view some Anasazi ruins. We have decided that we need to take Benjamin to see these kind of things that we have in our area of the world. Someday I am sure that they will not be available for us to explore and see anymore. The Butler Wash ruins are not accesable to the public anymore and you can only see them from afar. Jim said that at one point in time you could actually go up to the ruins...not now. Benjamin needs to see these things before they aren't available to the public anymore. It is happening, the government is trying to shut down many places in San Juan County and we will not be able to see them anymore. We also went to Mule Canyon ruins. They have been preserved by the BLM and people can actually go up to them. They have signs explaining things about the Anasazi people and how they lived. We had to hike to the Bulter Wash ruins and could not even get close to them. We enjoyed our little outing including crackers and strawberry pop! Notice Benjamin's red lips from the strawberry pop!
