Las Vegas, Luxor, Titanic, Bodies, and Shark Reef
We went to Las Vegas over the Thanksgiving break from school. We visited the Titanic exhibit. We stayed at the pyramid called the Luxor. We also visited the Bodies exhibit. That was a spectacular exhibit of our bodies but not pictures were allowed. Also we went to the shark reef at the Mandalay Bay. We had a very fun and interesting three days in Las Vegas. We came home to Thanksgiving with our family.

My Big, Handsome, Princess(?) Happy Birthday
Ok, so Jim has been photographed with a crown on quite a bit lately. In Octoberit was my birthday and Ben picked the cake...it was a Harley Davidson motorcycle cake. I am guessing mostly so that Ben could have the toy motorcycle on the cake to play with. I told Jim that I had wanted a flower or girl cake so for his birthday he picked a pink cake with a tiara for me! So happy birthday dear, to the love of my life, I am so thankful for you. I can't possibly imagine my life without him. I don't want to. He helps me in so many ways, I wouldn't be alble to have the job I do at the hospital without Jim. He cleans the house, does the laundry, takes care of Benjamin. He is a different person that who he used to be. He has a huge temper but he can keep it under control most of the time. Under his gruff and grouchy exterior beats a heart of gold. He would do anything that I needed. I count him as one of my greatest blessings! Hopefully he had a good day with his Budwieser Beer BBQ sauce!!!!

Halloween 2012
This year Benjamin wanted to be a ghost. But not just any regular ghost, he wanted a hood to his ghost costume. So I found one to make on Martha Stewart's website. We had a hard time finding enough white tule to make the costume that I made. On her site it was suggested that we use about 19 yards of tule...I could only come up with about seven. It worked out and Benjamin liked it. After all that I'm kind of thinking that I will buy what ever costume he wants. But that tule hooded ghost costume would have cost me $99 so maybe NOT!

Cathryn Mary Mackay Croft ~ Grandma Kay
Cathryn Mary Mackay Croft
April 24, 1922 ~ October 12, 2012
“Kay” known to her family and friends, left this earth Friday, October 12 early in the morning, just as she had entered this world, early in Sugar City, ID.
A farm girl at heart, she loved animals, the Grand Tetons, sewing and quilting.
From her marriage in 1940 to Arnold Croft, she became the mother to four, grandmother to 19 and great-grandmother to 50.
In 2002, she moved to Monticello from Corvalis, Oregon to be by family.
She is survived by son Brian (Candy) of Midway, UT, daughter Laraine (Winn) Westcott of Monticello, son Dean (Julia) of West Linn, OR, and daughter Nancy Kille of Sandy, UT.
In her final years she was a resident of Jamestown at Courtyard Assisted Living in Provo, UT where with all the places she resided, she made everyone feel they were her “favorite”, a special talent she shared unconditionally.
A special Thank You to the Monticello LDS Third Ward members who made her feel “a favorite” among her ward family.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 15, 2012 at the Berg Mortuary of Orem, UT and interment at the Sugar City, ID cemetery the following day, Tuesday, October 16.
She will be missed by many.
(San Juan Record Newspaper)
I will be one to miss her very much. She was a great example of a fine lady. She endured to the end. She had many trials in her life that she persevered through and had many great blessings because of her endurance. I will always remember her amazing example of motherhood. I will be a better mother and wife because of her example. She used her talents well. She was a wonderful lady and I am honored to be one of her grandaughters. I love you Grandma Kay!

Meet Miss Kitty
We got a new kitty. We decided that we need more cats and we had a hard time keeping a female cat around to have babies. I purchased Miss Kitty from Animal Ark in Orem. She is such a prankster. She loves to jump out and scare people while attacking their ankles as they walk buy. It really bugs me when she rubs up against me no matter what I am doing! I try to have keep calm and enjoy her excessive need for attention! Even though she is extremely annoying, she is very good with the litter box, and that is the only reason she is still living in the house! Hopefully she will have kittens someday before she destroys anything!

East Idaho Home Interiors
Jen and her husband Mike Zeyen at her store, East Idaho Home Interiors, in Pocatello, Idaho. I wanna go buy a lot of stuff! Now if I could just get Jen to come decorate my house...that is one thing Jen and I have in common. A love of decorating, she's probably a lot better at it than I am. After all she has a whole store to pick from! Maybe some day I will get to visit her store in Pocatello and buy some items for my house. It won't be anytime soon though, I'm done traveling for awhile and Jen is still mad.
